Tag guidelines - request for comments
Hi all, Clover here.
We’ve been wanting to improve on our current tagging system (system tags, that is - questionable, explicit, safe, grotesque, that whole kettle of fish) for a while now and a lot of thinking has been going on.
We’re now at the stage where we can’t really do any more without community involvement. What we have is a document the admins are basically happy with, and we now invite you, the community, to discuss it.
Discussion of this document is being done via the mailing list; you can access it here and sign up for email updates (allowing you to participate via email) or simply use the web ‘forum’ to participate. A Google account is not required last time I checked, though it does make things easier. Don’t feel you have to confine yourself to just the one thread if you want to raise a larger point.
We look forward to responses to our request for comments, and hope to get some consensus on a good, robust tagging framework that lets everyone filter out what they don’t want and get what they do want.
Happy debating!
Love,
Clover
